چکیده

Substance abuse and its associated disorders affect a whole spectrum of people. users individuals affected by substance come from diverse backgrounds with varying beliefs subscribe to various doctrines. This body work explores the perspectives certain Black rural community in Limpopo Province, South Africa, about treatment their neighbourhood. Data was collected purposively sampled members aged between 18 35 years through focus group discussion. The participation study voluntary consented to. data coded thematically analysed. Community ascribe substances different factors such as peer pressure, poverty, idleness—the most prominent factor, cited participants, is witchcraft fueled jealousy. youth feel like failure maintain sobriety those admitted centers not only due structural challenges but can also be attributed spiritual realm. There need consider service users’ treatment. social value individualization should duly applied when working people who have problems. obtain workers’ integrated approach treating use disorders.
